It's a wonderful world we live in.
But now human beings are killing our planet.
Millions of animals die every year because man has polluted their natural
homes. Besides, every year people cut down more trees, build more roads,
and use more land for farming.
The country air, once clean and fresh, now may be polluted by power
stations and factories
People cut the trees down because they need wood and paper or new places for farms and houses. Even if new trees are planted, it takes many years for them to grow.
Water is also polluted very much. There is a lot of litter on the beaches, and you can even see thick foam caused by chemical waste.
Pollution is very dangerous for people, wildlife and the environment.

Скука на уроке – один из самых неприятных и трудно устранимых недостатков учительского труда. На начальном этапе иностранный язык хотят учить все и берутся за это с большим энтузиазмом. Потом появляется усталость и скука. Интерес к предмету падает, результаты обучения ухудшаются. Скучно и тяжело бывает не только ученику, но и самому учителю, а от этого снижается эффективность любого самого умного и полезного урока. Постоянно повышать интерес учащихся к уроку – задача каждого педагога. Для этого можно использовать один из наиболее достигающих целей методов на начальном и среднем этапах обучения – игру. Игра – это один из методов, который я использую на уроках английского языка, во время которого дети очень активны, эмоциональны, хорошо запоминают, формируют навыки устной речи. Игра – это хороший материал для введения, закрепления и дальнейшей типизации действий учеников с обучающим материалом.
Игра способствует выполнению важных психологических и методических задач:
- снятию тревожности и созданию психологической готовности детей к речевому общению;
- обеспечению естественной необходимости многократного повторения учащимися языкового материала;
- тренировке учащихся в выборе нужного речевого материала, что является подготовкой к ситуативной спонтанности речи вообще.
На основе данной научной идеи и наблюдений можно разработать использование различных видов игр( дидактических, ролевых, фонетических, лексических и других) на уроках английского языка и во внеклассных мероприятиях. Творческий характер заданий, предлагаемых в ходе различных конкурсов, игр и соревнований, способствует лучшему запоминанию и усвоению различных грамматических явлений, расширению лексического запаса, развитию монологической и диалогической речи, а также открывает широкие возможности для индивидуальной работы ученика.

Образовательная цель:
Способствовать развитию коммуникативных умений и навыков устной речи по теме «Внешность»:
- учить понимать на слух текст, пстроенный на знакомом языковом материале;
- учить рассказывать о своей внешности и внешности других людей;
- учить вести диалог-расспрос;
- учить читать гласную букву Aa в закрытом слоге, читать про себя учебные тексты, и полностью понимать прочитанное.
Развивающая цель:
Создавать условия для развития логического мышления, внимания, памяти.
Воспитательная цель:
Содействовать повышению уровня мотивации, воспитанию культуры общения.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор;
Учебник “Английский с удовольствием” ("Enjoy English") для 2 класса общеобразовательных учреждений, авторы М. 3. Биболетова, О. А Денисенко, Н. Н. Трубанёва;
Рабочая тетрадь к учебнику "Enjoy English" для 2класса; CD MP3, презентация.
ХОД УРОКА.
1. Организационный момент.
- Good morning, dear friends!
Sit down, please!
Сегодня мы с вами узнаем новые слова, которые помогут нам описывать внешность разных людей.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
- Давайте позовем обезьянку. Monkey, come here!
Repeat the sounds and the words with the monkey!

[ z ]-lazy, pigs, tigers, nose
[ d ] - good, bad, dog, sad
[ æ ]- bad, bag, hat, fat
[ e ] -merry, ten, hen, seven
[ t ]- smart, pretty, fat, cat

 Look at the screen and read the words in transcription and translate: (слайд 1)

- Let's read the rhyme:(слайд 2)

3. Речевая разминка.
- It's time to play the game “Snowball”. (Слайд3) One pupil will name one word, another pupil will repeat it and add his own word.
- Тема игры — описание домашних животных. Один из учеников произносит предложение. Например: «My cat is white». Следующий ученик повторяет эту фразу и добавляет еще одно слово. Выигрывает тот, кто больше назовет слов в том порядке, в каком их называли ученики. Учащиеся должны использовать слова, обозначающие цвет и слова предыдущего урока.

4. Развитие лексических навыков. Знакомство с прилагательными.
 Today we shall learn the new words to describe people and animals. Open your textbooks, page 65, exercise 1.We can see our friends there.
 Billy is brave (смелый ) . Почему Билли смелый?
 Tricky is not good now. (не хороший). Почему?
 He is bad. (плохой). Почему?
 Tim is sad.( грустный). Почему?
 Alice is pretty. (хорошенькая).
 She is smart.( умная). Почему?
- And now look at the screen. (Обучающая компьтерная программа) Let's listen and guess who it is. Учащиеся слушают разговор Джилл и Джим и догадываются, о ком идет речь, о значении новых слов (good, bad, pretty, brave, smart). Затем учащиеся повторяют новые слова за учителем хором и индивидуально.

5. Фомирование навыков монологической речи.
- Now look at the screen and describe our friends. Use the models:(слайдs 4,5,6,7)
6. Физкультминутка.
 It's time to do exercises. Will you stand up. Let's remember our poem.

7. Закрепление новой лексики в вопросоительных, отрицательных, утвердительных предложениях.
 Look at the screen. There are pictures and models. What can you say about them? Look at the models, ask questions and answer them.(слайды 8,9,10)
Учащиеся составляют вопросы по картинкам и моделям. 2-3 пары заслушиваются перед классом.

8. Развитие навыков чтения. Обучение чтению буквы Aa в закрытом слоге.
 Today we shall read the words with the first letter of the English alphabet. It's exercise 4, page66.
Listen to the speaker, please. Ученики знакомятся с правилом чтения буквы Aa в закрытом слоге, читают слова за диктором, затем за учителем хором, в парах, индивидуально. Затем учащиеся выполняют упражнение 5,6, 7 на странице 66.
9. Подведение итогов урока.
- Скажите, что нового вы узнали на уроке?
- Our lesson is over. You have worked hard. Good-bye.
